This soapstone piece depicts a Mohawk Chief, with a flint piece on the back and  an Eagle feather carved into it. . Translated, Mohawk means "people of the flint". Todd is an Onondaga Native from the Six Nations Reserve. He was born in 1978 and has been carving soapstone since 2001. Many ofr his carvings are in collections throughout the world.
