He was put up for adoption at the age of five and adopted by a Causcasian family at the age of seven. HIs new parents ensured that he was aware of his native culture. He found joy in drawing and realized that he was good at it. He entered several drawing competitions and between 1985 and 1992 won 16 first place, 1 second place and 2 special awards. When he turned 22, Felix attended a drawing school in British columbia but soon found his own style of drawing di not fit in. Rather than conform to redetermined guidelines, he decided to continue developing his own style and draw from his life experiences. Many people use these cards to frame.
