Fancy Dancer Corn husk doll By Bev Doxtator, a Mohawk Native from the Six Nations Reserve. The art of making dolls from corn husks is a very old, tradtional and now rare artform. The dolls were never given a face as it was believed that this would instill a spirit into the doll. It also left the emotions of the doll up to the little girls imagination. The doll stands 12 inches by 10 inches.
